Whether you just got back from a retreat, it’s been a while since you’ve been on a retreat, or you’ve only ever researched retreats, you know that a retreat has a certain vibe.

This vibe is different than a picture-perfect Pinterest board, it’s more of a soul-healing vibe where you’re in an environment where you really feel like you can thrive in.

This is the type of vibe that many of us long for in our own homes or personal spaces.

But how can you create that vibe without the guided meditation and the amazing host who curates every little detail?

Is it even possible to achieve that vibe in your own space, or do you have to attend a retreat to feel that zen?

I’m here to tell you that you can create the retreat vibe in your space and that you can continue to feel balanced by curating the right environment for you.

First off, I’m going to say “home,” but I also mean apartment, space, room, backyard, heck, you can even do this in your office.

You don’t need to reserve a retreat vibe for your living space, you can benefit from taking this approach in any space that you spend a lot of time in and that you want to thrive in.

Where do I start?

One of the best places to start is to determine what you love about the retreat vibe.

Did you find it helpful because you had a specific place where you could be with your thoughts and process your emotions? Did you benefit from being surrounded by nature? Were you impacted by having crystals present? Do you miss the use of sound in the space?

Knowing what you valued about the retreat most will help you recreate the same environment.

If you haven’t been to a retreat, or you can’t pinpoint what the exact aspects were that you loved, that’s okay too! It’s just a helpful place to start because it gives you guidance that you’re going in the right direction with your vibe.

What are the benefits of creating a retreat vibe in my space?

There’s a reason that people feel connected and balanced at retreats.
