Finding Freedom in Who You Are Despite Having Life Responsibilities
NEWS FLASH: You need to take a break!
You, indeed!
This is for all of the mamas, business owners, hustlers, goal-setters, dreamers, and everyone in between.
This one’s for you!

When was the last time you took a break from your daily obligations?
I’m not talking about a couple of hours of scrolling on your phone or binge-watching your favorite Netflix show.
I’m talking about taking a complete break from your responsibilities in order to fully embrace your independence, spend time reflecting on who you are, and find life balance.
Is this too good to be true?
“How will I ever find the time for such a break, Dara?”
You must prioritize it!
You’ve earned a break!
You need a rest!
I’m sorry to break it to you, but when your vacation is over, your responsibilities will remain. The dishes will still need to be done, the emails will still need to be sent, and the laundry pile will not magically shrink.
I recommend taking a break that will allow you to mature as a person. If you’re going to take time off to recharge, I believe there’s a huge benefit to learning how you work and how you can thrive when you return to life’s responsibilities.

The Advantages of Taking a Break
That’s fine, but why? Why do you feel the need to take a break? Why do you think you deserve a break?
To begin with, taking a break from your responsibilities is extremely beneficial to your mental health and overall well-being. Leaving your responsibilities behind can help you recharge and return to them with a new perspective and a clear mind.
Another advantage of taking a break from your daily routine is that it allows you to celebrate who you are. You are more than your occupation. You are more than your tasks. You are more than your actions.
