What is breathwork?
Breathwork refers to any time you intentionally change your breathing pattern. There are numerous types of breathing exercises and techniques, but they all have the same goal, which is to improve your overall well-being.
The above exercise of breathing in and then holding it forces your mind and body to focus on your breath and nothing else while also bringing more oxygen to your brain. This practice can help you calm your nervous system, get your thoughts back on track, and more.

How is breathwork helpful?
Breathwork can be a helpful tool to navigate anxieties, refocus your energy, and more. Amy Kuretsky, a breathwork expert, wrote:
“Breathwork was the key that helped me tune in and find the answers already inside me. It can be the key for you too. Through a deeper connection with myself and my business using breathwork, I found the courage to take action and make changes that supported my clients and my work better. I found the inner permission to do business differently and fall back in love with my work.”
Whether you’re interested in gaining more control over your mental health or completely transforming your business, breathwork may be a tool that will help you reach your goals in a shorter time frame.

How do I do breathwork?
You may find it helpful to walk yourself through a breathwork exercise or follow a guided video.
You must be willing to give the exercise your full attention by getting rid of other things to do during this time. You don’t need to be in a quiet space to do this, but you might find it helpful.
Spend time breathing deeply, filling your lungs with air, and slowly releasing it.
